Conversations and audit requests

When you send a form, we collect your name, email address, business details, selected interests and message. We use these details to review your enquiry, respond and discuss the work you requested. Enquiries are stored in a private inbox available to the site owner. Submitting a form does not subscribe you to marketing or commit you to a purchase.

The form needs your name, email and the information marked as required so we can respond. You can email us instead. Do not include passwords, payment details or confidential customer records.

Website previews and AI features

When you enter a website address, we send its public URL to thum.io to capture a screenshot and to Jina Reader to read its public content. Only submit a public site you are authorised to use, or upload a screenshot you have permission to share.

AI design and visibility checks require ChatGPT sign-in. The hosting platform provides your account identifier, name and email; Ritual Arc does not receive your ChatGPT password. We use your account identifier to enforce AI usage limits.

When you request an AI design, your business brief, relevant website text and any screenshot are sent to OpenAI to generate a visual concept. A visibility check sends questions about your offer and market to OpenAI web search, then checks the returned answers for your business. These services may process data outside South Africa.

OpenAI’s API data controls describe how it handles requests, including service and abuse-monitoring retention. See OpenAI’s data controls. Generated concepts and search answers can be inaccurate. The service demonstrations elsewhere on this site are illustrative, not measured business results.

Storage, cookies and measurement

This website is hosted using OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. Those services process the information needed to deliver pages, manage sign-in and protect the service. Login uses essential session cookies.

We use your browser’s session storage to retain your business brief and selected services, and to carry your request through login. A pending AI request is restored for up to 30 minutes. Closing the tab normally clears session storage. Generated concepts are shown in your current page rather than saved to a public gallery.

We do not install advertising pixels or cross-site analytics trackers. Our private inbox records enquiry totals; AI usage counters support service limits. Hosting providers may keep operational and security logs.

Keeping and correcting information

Enquiries remain in our private records while we handle the conversation and any resulting work. They are not currently deleted on an automatic schedule. AI usage records contain an account identifier and hourly counts, rather than your submitted brief. Third-party services apply their own retention policies.

You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, withdraw consent, or object to its use by emailing info@ritualarc.co.za. We may need to verify your identity. Records needed for an ongoing agreement or legal obligation may need to be retained. You can also contact South Africa’s Information Regulator.
